Skincare in autumn: What your summer routine needs now

Cooler air, wind and the first days of heating: This is how you can adapt your summer routine to autumn step by step.

Skincare in autumn: What your summer routine needs now

In the morning the air is suddenly cool, in the afternoon the sun warms up again – and the cream that was just right in August feels too light in the evening. So you don’t need a completely new routine. Fall is more of an invitation to adjust exactly one step at a time.

Keep what feels good

Cleansing that doesn’t feel tight can stay. Sun protection is still part of the morning: UV radiation doesn’t take a break in the fall. If your skin seems drier after washing, use less cleanser or just lukewarm water in the morning. The ETUDE Soon Jung pH 5.5 Foam Cleanser is a mild option for days when water alone isn’t enough.

The cream may be a little softer

Do not immediately start with the richest cream on the shelf. Apply your usual skincare product a little more generously at first or only use a creamier texture in the evening. The Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream feels lighter; the Pyunkang Yul Nutrition Cream is richer and contains beeswax. In the direct comparison of both creams you can see the differences at a glance.

If only the cheeks are tight, the entire face does not need to be given more care. Apply a little more cream there and stick to the lighter amount in the T-zone. This is often more helpful than a complete product change.

New active ingredients can wait

The change in weather is not an ideal moment to introduce a retinoid, acid peel and a new vitamin C serum at the same time. Give your skin a few days of rest. If it burns or flakes, our article will help on how to recognize a stressed skin barrier .

Your little autumn check

Ask yourself in the evening: Does my skin feel tight after cleansing? Will the cream last until morning? Does the sun protection still feel comfortable? Only change the step to which you answer no. If you want to turn your answers into a manageable routine, the Quick-K routine will guide you through the selection.

Text of the EU notice

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
